Terms & conditions
General terms of sale for the GR8LI6HT store operated by EIGHTYSIX FORGE s.r.o.
This is an English convenience translation. The Czech version is legally binding.
I. Basic provisions
These General Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern, pursuant to Section 1751(1) of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., the Civil Code, as amended (the “Civil Code”), mutual rights and obligations arising in connection with or under a purchase contract concluded between:
EIGHTYSIX FORGE s.r.o., registered office: Poznaňská 2451/12, Žabovřesky, 616 00 Brno, Company ID: 29848369, registered with the Regional Court in Brno, email: info@gr8li6ht.com, phone: +420 736 417 815 (the “Seller”),
and any natural or legal person (the “Buyer”) who concludes a purchase contract via the Seller’s online store at https://gr8li6ht.com (the “Store”).
If the contracting party is a consumer (a natural person concluding a contract with a trader outside their business or independent professional activity), matters not covered by these Terms are governed by the Civil Code and Act No. 634/1992 Coll., on Consumer Protection, as amended.
If the Buyer is a trader, these Terms apply except for provisions expressly reserved for consumers only.
Provisions departing from these Terms may be agreed in the purchase contract; such agreements prevail over these Terms.
II. Ordering (no registration required)
The Buyer orders goods directly from the Store interface without creating a user account.
The Store interface shows product information including prices and packing/shipping costs. Prices include VAT and related charges and remain valid while displayed.
All product presentations are informative; the Seller is not obliged to conclude a purchase contract (§ 1732(2) of the Civil Code does not apply).
To order, the Buyer completes the order form, may review and edit data before sending, and submits by clicking “Order with obligation to pay”. Data in the order are deemed correct by the Seller.
The contract is formed when the Seller’s acceptance of the order is delivered to the Buyer by email.
III. Price and payment
The Buyer may pay the purchase price and delivery costs by methods offered at checkout: bank transfer to the Seller’s account (including QR payment instructions), or cash on delivery when taking the goods from the carrier. The Seller does not accept card payments or payment gateways.
Together with the purchase price the Buyer must pay packing and delivery costs in the agreed amount.
For cashless payment the price is due within 7 days of contract formation. Payment is fulfilled when the amount is credited to the Seller’s account.
IV. Delivery and shipping
Goods are delivered to the address stated in the order via the Seller’s contracted carriers.
If the Seller must deliver to the place specified by the Buyer, the Buyer must take delivery. Risk of damage passes to the Buyer upon receipt.
If redelivery or a different delivery method is needed for reasons on the Buyer’s side, the Buyer bears the related costs.
On receipt from the carrier the Buyer must check packaging integrity and report any damage to the carrier without delay.
V. Automotive accessories, non-homologated goods, off-road use
The Buyer expressly acknowledges that selected products (especially ambient lighting modules, underglow kits, and electronics modifications) are not approved for use on public roads (no ATEST 8SD or EHK/EU homologation) unless expressly stated for a specific product.
Products labelled “Offroad use”, “Track use only”, or “Motorsport / closed circuits only” are intended solely for sport, exhibition, or closed tracks off public roads.
The Seller is not liable for direct or indirect damage, fines, vehicle registration issues, or failed technical inspections (STK) caused by using non-homologated goods contrary to their intended use on public roads.
Before installation the Buyer must read the user guide and safety instructions. Installing electronic parts requires automotive-electrical expertise. The Seller is not liable for vehicle or product damage from improper installation by the Buyer.
VI. Consumer withdrawal
Under Section 1829(1) of the Civil Code the consumer may withdraw from the purchase contract without giving a reason within 14 days of receiving the goods.
Withdrawal must be sent within that period. The consumer may use the Seller’s sample form and send withdrawal to the Seller’s registered office or to info@gr8li6ht.com.
On withdrawal the contract is cancelled from the outset. Goods must be returned within 14 days of the Seller receiving the withdrawal. The consumer bears the cost of returning the goods.
The Seller refunds payments within 14 days of withdrawal, using the same method as received, and is not obliged to refund before receiving the goods or proof of dispatch.
The consumer is liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
Serially manufactured floor mats with a hand-applied pattern (uniform design for all customers) are not goods made to the consumer’s specifications under Section 1837(d) of the Civil Code; the 14-day withdrawal right fully applies.
VII. Rights from defective performance (claims)
Rights from defective performance are governed by applicable law (in particular Sections 1914–1925, 2099–2117 and 2161–2174a of the Civil Code and the Consumer Protection Act).
The Seller warrants the goods are free from defects on receipt. A defect appearing within one year is presumed to have existed on receipt unless the nature of the goods or defect excludes this.
Consumers may assert rights from defects in consumer goods for 24 months from receipt.
Details are in the Seller’s Claims Policy on the Returns & claims page.
VIII. Out-of-court consumer dispute resolution (ADR)
The Czech Trade Inspection Authority (ADR department), Gorazdova 1969/24, 120 00 Prague 2, email adr@coi.gov.cz, https://www.coi.gov.cz, is competent for out-of-court resolution of consumer disputes. Disputes may also use the ODR platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
The European Consumer Centre Czech Republic, Štěpánská 44, 110 00 Prague 1, http://www.evropskyspotrebitel.cz, is the contact point under Regulation (EU) No 524/2013.
IX. Final provisions
Legal relations arising from or in connection with use of the Store are governed by Czech law. If the Buyer is a consumer habitually resident in another EU Member State, choosing Czech law does not deprive them of mandatory protection under the law of their habitual residence.
These Terms take effect on 1 August 2026.
